The December edition of our Brownville's Newsletter for the Holidays will be showcasing Businesses in Brownville.

If you are a craftsman, an artist, a contractor, etc. and make your living by having your own business, contact the Brownville Town Office so we can list you in our edition.

There is no charge to list your business/trade for this edition.

Brownville road closing, 10/15 through 10/17

Route 11/Main Road in Brownville will be shut down on Tuesday, October 15th through Thursday, October 17th for the railroad crossing construction.

Traffic will be detoured onto Church Street.

DOT will being setting up on Monday, October 14th and traffic will be limited to one lane.

Please use caution and give yourself extra time for the delays.

Brownville: Fall Cleanup

The Town of Brownville offers residents Fall Cleanup on Wednesday, October 9 (west side of the river) and on Thursday, October 10 (east side of the river).

Electronics and appliances will not be picked up.

If you have any questions, please, call the Town Office at 965-2561.

Milo Evergreen Cemetery Notice

All flower arrangements (both live and artificial flowers and plants) must be removed from the cemetery on, or before, Sunday, October 13.

Winter arrangements (including evergreens, wreaths, poinsettias, etc.) may remain all winter.

Your co-operation will be very much appreciated.

Obamacare, if you have enrolled in the va healthcare system you are covered, urging all veterans who have not enrolled to do so to avoid the penalty.

Americanism report  by Margaret Williams said they would like to do school awards again this year with the 5th grades.  Randy Klug made a

motion to do the school awards program again this year, 2nd by Lee Leeman, vote unanimous.
