Dean A. Pullen, 76, went to be with her Lord, February 5, 2014, after a short illness, at her residence. She was born in Los Angeles, CA, January 29, 1938. Dean was raised in Culver City, CA and attended Culver City Schools. She married David J. Pullen, of Milo, Maine December 21, 1969. She was a member of Jobs Daughters, the Order of Rainbow for Girls and the Order of the Eastern Star (OES) in Culver City. She lived in France, Tripoli, California and Texas while traveling with the US Air Force. She and David settled in Maine in 1970 where Dean worked in various business leadership positions. She served as Worthy Matron of Aldworth Chapter, OES and the Grand Chapter of Maine OES as Grand representative to the Grand Chapter of Georgia and Grand Marshall. They moved to Texas in 1981 where Dean continued working in business and was a member of Business and Professional Women. She served Bryan Chapter and Longview Chapter OES as Worthy Matron. They moved back to Maine to retire at Little Boyd Lake in 2012, where Dean was active in Red Hatters, Milo Garden Club, Three Rivers Kiwanis and Aldworth Chapter OES Past Matrons. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Churches of Bryan and Longview, Texas. She was known for the variety of pies she baked for church functions, OES suppers, community functions and hungry children and grandchildren. Dean was an avid reader of novel and the newspapers. Dean is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Terri Wessling and husband, Carroll, Leesville, LA; son, Bill Braselton and wife, Kathy, Bradenton, FL; grandchildren: Jennifer Edwards and husband, Ronny, Miakka, FL, Jeff DuBois, Bradenton, FL, Megan McLellan, Lake Charles, LA, Matthew Braselton, Bradenton, FL, Brenna Campbell and husband, Chris, Pineville, LA, Chris Braselton and wife, Julie, Smithfield, VA, Tyler McLellan, USN, Oak Hill, WA, Stephanie Cook and husband, Peyton, Dallas, TX, Daphne Henderson and husband, Bill, Colleyville, TX, Natalie Wessling and fianc�é, Scott Sundermeyer, Oklahoma City, OK, Carroll Wessling II and partner, Kelly Ortego, LA, and Barbara Gardner, Tyler, TX; great-grandchildren: Allena DuBois, Marina Edwards, Caitlin Campbell, Holland Cook, Chance Henderson, Sydney Henderson, Corey Wessling, Noah Wessling, and Dustin Gardner. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 PM Sunday February 9 at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, Maine. A celebration of Dean's life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 10, at the Park Street United Methodist Church, Park Street, Milo, Maine. Dean's life will be celebrated in Bradenton, Florida, Bryan, Texas and Leesville, Louisiana at a time to be announced before a mid June interment at Evergreen Cemetery Milo, Maine.
