Christopher John Mallett

SEBEC - Christopher John Mallett, 44, died Oct. 5, 2012, in Milo. He was born Dec. 11, 1967, in Beverly, Mass., the son of Duane and Mary (Bearce) Mallett.

At a young age he moved to Clinton, Conn., and then to Dover-Foxcroft, when he was 11 years old. He graduated from Foxcroft Academy, class of 1986, and from the University of Maine, class of 1992, with a degree in mechanical engineering. Chris worked as a self-employed truck driver until January 2012, when he moved home to help his aging parents in Sebec.

He is survived by a son, Ethan Spelios of Dover-Foxcroft; his parents of Sebec; two brothers, Michael Mallett and his wife, Charla, of Las Vegas and Wesley Mallett of Sebec; his sister, Melissa Mallett and her partner, Andrew Johnston, of Dover-Foxcroft; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Chris's life will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Melissa's house, 59 Lincoln St., Dover-Foxcroft. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
