Charles Joseph Goodine

CORINTH - Charles J. Goodine, 75, "Grinky," passed away peacefully March 31, 2011, surrounded by his loving wife, Cynthia, and family at his residence. He was born Feb. 4, 1936, in Atkinson, the son of John Ambrose and Margaret (Whalen) Goodine. Charles was a Navy veteran during the Korean War era and had been employed at Pottle's Trucking. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bangor. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a son, Randall and his wife, Pam; grandchildren, Ryan and his wife, Nicole, Danielle, Jessica, Brittany, Christina and Casey; two great-grandchildren, Jailen and Devin; extended family, Marsha and Rob; five brothers, Stuart, Eugene, Patrick, Guy and Paul; two sisters, Betty Foster and Leona Goodine; several nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be said 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 754 Ohio St., Bangor, with Father Rollie Nadeau, celebrant.
