MILO - Marjorie I. (Wilson) Mosher, 82, died February 21, 2011 at a nursing home in Bangor. She was born September 23, 1928, in Derby, the daughter of Edward James and Iona Vera (Dyer) Wilson. Marjorie married her children's father, William Roberts, of Elliotsville, who died in November of 1959.

The world has never known such an avid housekeeper. Marjorie liked to be busy and enjoyed housecleaning, which became one of her careers while living in Presque Isle. After her children were grown she returned to her hometown of Milo where she became an important part of her elder daughter's family. Marjorie enjoyed walking and was very happy to be back with her old friends and schoolmates. She became a caregiver, always appreciated and well loved by the families of the people for whom she cared. Always a determined person, Marjorie resumed her education to complete her senior year of high-school, graduating in 1978, with the congratulations and good wishes of family and friends. She was a loyal person and felt obligated to share her strong political beliefs and to help those who needed a hand in life. She will always be remembered in the lives of those she touched but her presence will be greatly missed.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Steven Roberts and his wife, Karen; daughters Sharon Roberts-Corcoran, and Sheila Corbett and her husband, Bill; her grandchildren, Steven Roberts Jr, Kriston Corcoran, Heidi Jo (Roberts) Burtt, Sean Corcoran and his wife Thouy, Ronnie Lynn (Roberts) Mitchell, Kyle Corcoran, Joleen Corcoran and her partner, Sean Theran, Cobbie Roberts and his wife, Annie (Anderson), Ryan Roberts and his partner, Patty (Busque); her sister-in-law, Maria Wilson of California; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Mosher of Presque Isle, brothers Edward Wilson of Oregon, and Bruce Wilson of California, her sister Lois (Wilson) O'Neal of Portland, and her grandson Shane Roberts of Exeter.

Memorial services will be held 3 pm. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Brownville Junction. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marjorie's memory to Westgate Manor Activity Fund. Please note "donation in memory of Marjorie I. Mosher", and mail to 750 Union Street, Bangor ME 04401. Marjorie's children wish to thank the Penobscot staff of Westgate Manor for the kindness, compassion and care they gave to their mother and to them-it was the greatest gift in a difficult time. We also wish to thank Beacon Hospice for their care. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com
