Ruth C. Weatherbee

BOWERBANK - Ruth Irene C. Weatherbee, 84, wife of the late G. Robert "Bob" Weatherbee, died Aug. 26, 2010, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1925, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Alfred and Violet (Meffan) Comeau. A graduate of Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1943, Ruth had been a member of United Church of Christ and the Molasto Club, Dover-Foxcroft for many years. She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Weatherbee and his wife, Lilly, of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Janice Weatherbee of Peoria, Ariz.; a special sister-in-law, Phyllis Weatherbee of Dover-Foxcroft; grandchildren, Adam Harvey and his wife, Megan, Jon-Sebastian Weatherbee and his fiancee, Ericka Workman, Emily Harvey, Alison Donahue and Hali Ryder; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Harvey, Justin, Cameron, Blake and Dominick Donahue, Madison Harvey, Evangeline Weatherbee and Francesca Donahue. She will be remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Bob; a sister, Betty Comeau; and a brother, Raymond Comeau. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A private memorial service will be held at a later date for the family.
