Beverly Rolfe Howse

OKLAHOMA CITY - Beverly Rolfe Howse, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior July 1, 2010, in Oklahoma City. She was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Milo, to Edwin and Hannah Rolfe. Beverly was a member of Southwest Baptist Church, Oklahoma City. Previously, she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Newport Beach, Calif., and Mountain Avenue Baptist Church, Banning, Calif. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Duane Ladd Howse; two sisters, Dorothy Greenlaw and Florence Taetsch; and one great-grandchild, Chris Eddy. Survivors include her sister, Thelma Greenlaw and husband, Harry, of Milo; two children: daughter, Marie Eddy and husband, Warren, of Santa Rosa, Calif., and son, Roger Howse Sr. and wife, Suzanne, of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Doug Grant and wife, Rebecca, of Olathe, Kan., Ron Grant and wife, Tina, of Cypress, Texas, Roger "RJ" Howse Jr. of Long Beach, Calif., Margaret Peters and husband, Chris, of Rohnert Park, Calif., and Rachel Spivey and husband, Jason, of Oklahoma City; seven great-grandchildren, Haley and Ashley Grant, Kelli and Amber Grant, Cody and Casey Peters and Samuel Spivey; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We thank the staff at Heritage Park Nursing Facility, Bethany, Okla., for their love and expert care; the staff at Crossroads Hospice for their compassionate care; and the staff at Bill Merritt Funeral Service for their help from day one.
