MILO - Gail L. Burlock, 77, wife of the late Al Burlock, died peacefully May 14, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at home. Gail was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Milo, the daughter of Sam and Estelle (Decker) McSorley. Gail was a waitress in Milo for many years. She loved her grandchildren, horse racing, dancing, playing cards, the beach and her velvet Elvis. Gail was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Charlie; and her sister, "Bunny" Colter. She is survived by one daughter, Paula Dupont and her husband, Ben, of Brookline, N.H.; and three sons, Daniel Lyford and his wife, Cindy, of Nashua, N.H., Gary Lyford and his wife, Ella, of LaGrange and Dennis Lyford and his wife, Kim, of Milo. She is also survived by her siblings, Roy McSorley and his wife, Pat, of Elliotsville, Donna Paul of Brownville and Barry McSorley of Sebec. Gail leaves behind her 13 loving grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family thanks her good friends and caretakers, Deanna Libby and Kelly York; and her very "special" niece, Susan Larson, for all their love and support. Graveside memorial services will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with the Rev. Michele St. Cyr officiating.
