LINCOLN AND MILO - Helen V. Gerrish, 87, wife of the late Charles W. Gerrish, died March 18, 2010, surrounded by her family at Penobscot Valley Hospital, Lincoln. She was born July 22, 1922, in Hope, daughter of Leroy and Nellie (Hyatt) Rolfe. Helen worked at Bath Ship Yard, Hathaway Shirt Co. and Dexter Shoe Co. She is survived by two sons, Charles and Beverly of Lincoln and Wesley and Irene of Burnham; and three daughters, Donna and James Tash of Chester, Helen and David Pennington of Brownville Junction and Dorothy and Robert Bean of Newport. She will be lovingly remembered by 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law, Brenda and Christine. She was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth Ann; two sons, Ernest and Robert; a grandson, a great-granddaughter and a great-grandson. Friends are invited to call 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service 1 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with the Rev. Al Worden officiating.
