SANGERVILLE - Vivian G. St. Louis, 83, died peacefully Jan. 10, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born July 22, 1926, in Brownville, daughter of John and Doris (Marston) Goodreau. She attended Farmington Normal School and taught school for a while at the one room schoolhouse in Sangerville. Vivian later worked for Eastland Woolen Mill, Corinna, until her retirement. She was an avid bingo and cribbage player. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis, in 1985; a son, Ronny; a grandson, Andy; two brothers, Harold Goodreau and his wife, Betty, and John Goodreau; and two special friends, Leone Palmer and Dottie Holmbom. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and is survived by six children and their spouses, Karen and Monte Howard of Corinna, Thomas and Nola St. Louis of Parkman, Kathy and Jeff Willey of Sangerville, Gail and Charles Stevens of Newport, Maurice and Sandra St. Louis of Abbot, and John St. Louis of Sangerville; daughter-in-law, Sherry St. Louis of Cambridge; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Galen and Donna Goodreau of Guilford; two sisters-in-law, Ardell "Red" Lovell of Sangerville and Elaine Goodreau of Guilford; and a special friend, Lucy Chambers of Sangerville. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford, where funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Terrance McKinley officiating. Graveside committal services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 14, at Sangerville Village Cemetery.
