Marian F. Rhoda

MILO - Marian F. Rhoda, 92, wife of the late Frederick W. Rhoda Jr., passed from this Earth Feb. 28, 2009, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born June 11, 1916, in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of Charles and Fannie (Bradman) Howard. She was a member of United Baptist Church of Milo, where she belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary and Triple M Club. Marian loved her Lord Jesus with all her heart. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking and caring for family and friends, and was bright and active until her final days. She will be fondly remembered by those who knew her as a true lady. She is survived by a son, Richard White and wife, Rose, of Brownville; two daughters, Frances Douglas and husband, William, of Brownville, and Sharon Purdue of Brooksville; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald White. Friends are invited to call 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, where funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, with the Rev. Rudy Homchuck officiating.
