Phyllis C. Robinson

Phyllis C. Robinson, 77, beloved wife of Robert D. Robinson, passed away Jan. 10, 2009, at her residence, with all of her family by her side, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Milo, the daughter of Elton and Dorothea (Smith) Dean. Phyllis worked at Dexter Shoe and retired after 25 years. She especially enjoyed making wedding and birthday cakes. She attended Gospel Lighthouse and United Methodist Church, Milo, and loved the Lord. She was a loving and devoted wife to Robert D. Robinson, who cared and loved her to the end, and a loving and devoted mother to her children, who adored her. She will be dearly missed by her husband, family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert of Orneville; four sons, twins, Steven of Bradford and Stanley and his wife, Pamela, of Bangor, Robert E. and his wife, Lisa, of Brownville and Douglas and Susan of Orneville; a sister, Marietta Robbins and her husband, Phil; a brother, Paul Dean and his wife, Charlotte; 10 grandchildren, Jessica McCraw, Daniel Robinson, Amanda Flewelling, Matthew Robinson, Candi Labree, Bobby Robinson, Kristin Robinson, Ryan Robinson, Derek Robinson and Travis Pratt; eight great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald E. Dean; and a sister, Julia A. Gray. Friends and family are invited to call 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Park Street United Methodist Church, Milo, with the Rev. Michele St. Cyr and Pastor Kevin Jacobs officiating.
