Beverly L. Cairns

MILO - Mrs. Beverly L. (Fuller) Cairns, wife of the late Norman R. Cairns, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008, at her home, in the 84th year of her life. Daughter of Edward B. Fuller and Jennie (Cook) Fuller of West Rutland, Vt., Beverly was born Sept. 8, 1924. Actively involved in her younger years in Glenburn Covenant Church, Pleiades Grange and Good Samaritan Order of the Eastern Star, Beverly was well known in her adopted home of Glenburn, where she lived for more than 50 years. "Cairns" loved children and spent most of her adult life caring for little ones, spending 33 years working with preschoolers at Hilltop School, Bangor. She will be lovingly and forever remembered by her daughters and their families; her special companion, Gor-don W. Curtis of Milo; numerous friends, relatives and acquaintances. Beverly leaves behind a loving family, Deanna Leigh Jones and her husband, Stephen, of Glenburn, Norma Jean Morey and her husband, Robert, of Milo and Gayle Marie Cairns of Casco; as well as six grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Benjamin Morey, Jeffrey Norsworthy, Amanda Morey, Joseph Norsworthy and Jennie Norsworthy; and 10 great-grandchildren, Collin and Aaron Jones, sons of Trevor and Carol Jones; Carly Jean and Nealie Jacqueline Morey, daughters of Benjamin and Jill Morey; Brianna, Lindsey and Andrew Norsworthy, children of Jeffrey and Serena Norsworthy; Evan Norsworthy, son of Joseph Norsworthy and Katrina Welborn; and Lily and Shealyn Bagley, daughters of Amanda Morey and Heath Bagley. She was predeceased by her five brothers and sisters. A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
