MILO AND PORTLAND - June M. Kelley went to be with her Lord and Savior April 17, 2008. She was born June 12, 1922, in Milo, the daughter Seldon and Madelyn (Wharff) Moores Sr. June attended schools in Dover-Foxcroft. She and her husband were co-owners and operators of Kelley Lumber Co., for many years, and she had been an active member of Milo Baptist Church. June will be remembered for her devotion to her family, spiritual beliefs, sense of humor and her strong work ethic. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Earnest Kelley; and by her younger son, Frank E. Kelley Sr. She is survived by her elder son, Charles E. Kelley and wife, Sally, of Portland; two brothers, Seldon Moore and wife, Ylien, of Alexandria, Va., and Malcolm Burrill and wife, Mary, of Palmyra; a sister, Natalie Downs of Dover, N.H.; a daughter-in-law, Becky Kelley of Milo; five grandchildren, Terri Kelley-Palin and husband, Ed, of Sangerville, Kathy K. White and husband, Bruce, of Sebec, Peter E. Kelley and wife, Kim, of Scarborough, Ann Rumery and partner, Jim, and Frank E. Kelley II and wife, Crystal, all of Dover-Foxcroft; nine blessed great-grand-children, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2 p.m. until time of funeral service 3 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with the Rev. Stephen Dean officiating. After cremation, burial will be in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery.
