CORINTH - James "JJ" Shannon French Jr., 32, died tragically Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, while working as a lineman for NextGen Telecom Services Group from massive electrocution. He was born July 28, 1975, in Lincoln, the son of James S. French Sr. and Karen Jo (Long) French. He is survived by his wife, Denise F. (Allen) French; his two children, Blake C. French, age 9, and Kaleb J. French, age 7; his mother, Karen J. French Lambert and his stepfather, Frank L. Lambert; his sister, Jolene E. French; stepbrother, William "Pork" Lambert and his wife, Victoria, and their children; his grandfather, Wallace E. Blowers; mother-in-law, Eva A. Allen; many aunts uncles, cousins, in-laws; and his nieces and nephews, Breanna L. Barta, Jason D. Allen, Felycia J. Lambert, Cassidy N. Lambert, Kaylee M. Lambert, Dawson W-J Lambert, Zachery A. Nickerson, Grant C. Poulin, Gage C. Poulin and Gabrielle "Sissy" Poulin. He is also loved and missed by his lifelong friends, David and Jenn Stone, Kevin and Michelle Severance, Ericson and Rox-anne Estes, Thale and Jenny Brackett; and also his special four-wheeling friends, Wanda and Gabe Poulin and George, who is also his brother-in-law, and Connie Allen, and many more. He was predeceased by his father, James Shannon French Sr.; grandmother, Amy Adelaide Blowers; father-in-law, George P. Allen Sr.; and his cousin, Harold C. Turner. The loves of his life were his family and friends. He enjoyed his job, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, camping and attending all his children's sports activities. To his mother, Karen, he was her everything, her life, and he was a momma's boy. To his sister, Jolene, he was her protector, role model and best friend. To his brother, Pork, he was his construction partner, best friend and reliable sibling, who also enjoyed riding four-wheelers and just being together. He will so greatly be missed by all of his friends who have had the great pleasure to know and work with JJ. JJ was always the one to lend a helping hand whenever anyone needed him. His is loved by many and will be missed by all. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Charleston Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Matthew Ward officiating, where a viewing will be held 9-11 a.m. The procession to the graveside committal at Corinthian Cemetery directly after the service will be escorted by four-wheelers. There will be a gathering after the graveside committal in the fellowship hall at Charleston Pentecostal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maine Savings Federal Credit Union, Corinth, ME 04427, in memory of James Shannon French Jr. for his children, Blake and Kaleb. Arrangements by Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth. From his wife, "I will always love you. You have been my world, my best friend and soul mate. You have always been the one to work and take care of your family and never complain. You can hang your hat on that babe. I look forward to seeing you soon. Prepare our mansion that God has provided us and I will be there as soon as I can. Love you all the way to the moon and back."
