BROWNVILLE JUNCTION Jeanine R. Burgoyne, 83, wife of the late John L. Burgoyne, died May 22, 2007, at Maine Veterans' Home, Bangor. She was born March 20, 1924, in Beauvois, Oise, France, the daughter of Pauline Raffestin. She had worked at Hathaway Shirt Co. for many years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Woman's Sodality, the Brownville Junction Service Club, and Katahdin Senior Citizens. She is survived by a son, George Burgoyne and wife, Peggy, of Bangor; a daughter, Susan Staples and husband, Ronald, of Holden; three grandchildren, Amy Staples, Elizabeth Pouwels, and Aaron Staples; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Jeanine Mantsch and Eli Pouwels. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Sts. Paul the Apostle and Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Milo, with Fr. James Robichaud, celebrant. Burial will be in the family lot at Pinetree Cemetery, Brownville Junction.
