Claire Louise (Webster) Sanders

CONCORD NH - Long-time Greenville resident Claire Louise (Webster) Sanders, 88, died Jan. 29, 2006, at The Birches in Concord, N.H. Mrs. Sanders was born July 29, 1917, in Fort Fairfield, to Albert and Iva (Hitchcock) Webster. She graduated from Brownville High School in Brownville and Beal Business College in Bangor. She met her future husband, Harry A. Sanders III, when she went to work at D.T. Sanders and Son in Greenville. She also worked along side her husband at their ski shop at Squaw Mountain for a number of years. In retirement she lived in St. Simons Island, Ga., Wesley Chapel, Fla. and Hallowell. She was an avid golfer playing year-round between Greenville and Wesley Chapel, Fla. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harry A. Sanders III, a Greenville businessman; her parents, and her two sisters, Kay Coxon and Margaret Keyes, both of Massachusetts. She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne McKendry of Hopkinton, N.H., Judy Enright of Skowhegan; Carol Sheehan of Hookset, N.H.; and a nephew, James M. Sanders of Falmouth. She also leaves grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, nieces and nephews. The family will hold a memorial service in Greenville in the spring. Interment will be in the Greenville cemetery.
