MILO - Marilyn J. Whitten, 68, died July 10, 2005, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Oct. 10, 1936, in Brownville, the daughter of John A. and Dorothy (Rolfe) Fish. She is survived by her companion of 36 years, Harold Whitten; one daughter, Patricia Dickson and husband, Cliff, of Milo; two sons, Edwin S Gourmley Sr. and wife, Laureen, of Milo, Timmy Gormley and friend, Betty, of Milo; 10 grandchildren, Jamie and Jason James of Florida, Melissa and Travis Gilman of Sebago Lake, Amanda and Joseph Purdue of Charleston, Mary Hilda and fiancé, Chris Brown, of Pennsylvania, Edwin S. Gormley Jr. and wife, Belinda, of Maryland, Sabrina Gormley and fiancé, Ryan Weston, of Brownville, Brian M. Gormley of Milo, Kandi Lynn Gormley of Sebec, Miranda J. Guilbault of Milo, Michelle Bucci of Milo; nine great-grandchildren, Mercedes Hope Purdue, Dakota Michael Kenneth Purdue, Sierra Elizabeth Purdue, Katherine Gormley, Eli Gormley, Bailey Ryan Weston, Jacob Ryan James, Jace Michael James, Teagan Clukey; two sisters, Dorothy Hughes and Sandra Cookson of Milo; four brothers, Kenneth Greenlaw of Milo, Johnny Fish of Palmyra, Donald and Wayne Fish of Connecticut; a special aunt and uncle, Harry and Thelma Greenlaw many nieces and nephews . She was predeceased by one son, Michael; two sisters, Donna DeCarlo and Mary Whitten. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at the Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with Pastor David Mumford officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
