Finishing the regular season sixth in the Class C, Northeastern Divison with a season record of 6-12, Penquis will open post season play at No. 3 Schenck Wednesday night.

"We split wiht them in regular season play. We beat them a couple of weeks ago by 10. We've got a chance to beat them if we play well," said Coach Tony Hamlin. "If we control the tempo of the game I think we will have a good chance to beat them."

He said the Patriots had a fairly good season considering they lost some key players. "We had two or three other games we could have won," Hamlin said.

"The kids were great. They hung in there. They did a good job," he added.

Penquis Valley started the season with a you team and a building process.
