Local UMaine students make Dean's List

ORONO The University of Maine Dean's List for the 2002 spring semester includes the names of students from Maine, as well as 31 other states and 22 foreign countries.

A total of 2,068 students earned Dean's List honors from UMaine's eight colleges. Of the students who made the Dean's List, 215 are from out of state, 1,802 are from Maine, and 50 are from foreign countries.

Local students include: Joseph Ringwalt Deitz, a biology major, from Atkinson; Troy Allen Chase, a nursing major; Kristen Marie Curry, an elementary education major; Scott George Gray, a mathematics major; Joshua Aaron Guthrie, a music education major; Betsy Leona Lovely, an elementary education major, all from Brownville; Janeane Rayanna L. Chase, an elementary education major; Robert Leo Jackson, a political science major, both from Charleston; Michelle Elizabeth Bowden, an elementary education major; Sean Patrick Cole, a political science major; Deborah Lynne Foumier, a music education major; James Robert Hartford, a new media major; Samantha Elizabeth Haskell, an elementary education major; Lindsay Noelle Waller, a business administration, major, all from Dexter; Christopher Michael Walker, a mechanical engineering major; Charity Lee Washburn, a nursing major; Shirlie Jean Raven Arnold, an anthropology major; Michael Kevin Carolin, a music education major; Jonathan Michael Seavey, a business administration major; Jessica Jean Wentworth, an anthropology major, all from Dover-Foxcroft; Amanda Elizabeth Bouley, a journalism major; Joel Nickerson Dubien, a computer science major, both from Greenville; Elisha Ann Hall, an English major; Sarah E. Lowery, an undeclared major; Heidi Lyn Martell, a business administration major; Jodi Lynne Waterhouse, a social work major, all from Guilford; Sarah Michelle Gahagan, a psychology major; Thomas Alan Gillis, a child devel and family relations major; Candi Lee Hartmann, a sychology major; Karen J.
