COMPREHENSIVE QUILTING — Brownville's comprehensive planning committee is raffling off this quilt made by Monday Morning Quilters and a quilt rack made by Dennis Green at their next public meeting planned for Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting, which will be held at Brownville Elementary School, will include a performance by the Doughty Hill Band and information on progress of the town's comprehensive planning. Tickets can be purchased on Aug. 23 and Sept. 27 at Maine Savings in Milo or from members of the committee including those pictured here, from left, Dennis Green, Terry Knowles and Tom Belvin.
