Twenty-five girls were picked for the All-American team from one hundred nominees. Kristen and Heather were chosen for the All-American team. All nominees were invited to participate in events with the NCA cheerleaders at the Orange Bowl and the Hula Bowl, for the upcoming year.

Coach Murano was very proud of the great team effort put forth by all the girls. Earlier in the summer, the cheerleaders held a summer clinic for grades K-5. They all worked hard and the young cheerleaders enjoyed themselves. They hope to hold a Saturday clinic later in the fall for the younger girls.

The nominees will be doing fund raising to go to the Orange Bowl in Florida . For any information on the fund raising, please contact Sherry Bishop at 943- 0993. Coach Murano looks forward to the coming season with this hard working, talented group.
