Brownville, Milo applying for funds to replace failed septic systems

The towns of Brownville and Milo will be applying to the Maine Department of Environmental Protection for the Grant funds to replace failed or failing septic systems, which may be affecting water quality.

Property owners who suspect that their septic systems may be failing and having a harmful impact on water quality are urged to contact the Brownville or Milo Town Office. Representatives from the towns will inspect the system to determine eligibility under the grant program.
