Selectmen OK computer purchase

Article from The Piscataquis Observer, Vol. 165, No. 8, February 19, 2003

BROWNVILLE Selectmen last week approved Town Manager Sophie Wilson's request to purchase an administrative computer for her home.

The computer will allow Wilson to perform work at home.

"It will make her job a little easier," said Selectman Dennis Green.

Gary Cook raised questions about the purchase. While he didn't doubt the benefit the purchase would be to
the town, he said he was not sure the budget could afford it.

Wilson said the cost of a new computer would range from $700 to $1,000, and that funds would come from the administrative budget.
