Coffee house to raise funds for Milo gazebo project

MILO The music of Evergreen will be the featured attraction at the Milo Town Hall Arts Center to raise money for the town's newest project at the Veterans Park on the riverfront. Plans are now underway to build a gazebo large enough to provide the community the opportunity to enjoy the river, have picnics, gather for club meetings, listen to music from bands, and much more. It will give our children a place to leam about nature, hear story tellers, enjoy class picnics, meet with their families, and be exposed any other events taking place there.

Evergreen is a group of four who play a wide range of energizing for their audience to enjoy. Their music consists of bluegrass, folk, old-time country, swing, and jazz.

The Coffee House is On Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Milo Town Hall. There is an admission cost. There will be several door prizes given away during the evening. The profit from the the Coffee House will go towards the Gazebo Project. This is being sponsored by Three Rivers Kiwanis Club of Milo and Brownville. Information: 943-7748 or eetrew@midmaine.com.
