SEBEC - A 17-year-old Milo girl apparently rolled over her car early Sunday morning, knocking down several utility lines and closing the road for hours.Driving inexperience is the probable explanation for why Candace Bauboin, 17, of Milo overturned her 1985 Buick Century on Route 16 just beyond the Hughes Road at approximately 8 a.m., police said.

"She only had her license for a few days," Deputy Basil Patterson of the Piscataquis County Sheriff's Department said Sunday.

The crash took out a utility pole and wires hung in the road, which was closed for two hours before one lane was opened. It took a total of six hours to fully open the roadway.

Bauboin, who was alone in her vehicle at the time of the accident, was transported to Mayo Regional Hospital and was later released.
