September 01, 2009 - TRC - By James Macomber

Come and have fun with us !

Have fun while learning a business ! Sounds too good to be true, but we have it here at the Penquis Young Entrepreneurs’ Society (YES). Students have the opportunity to build friendships, to play games, to have internet access, a great snack, and the ability to make and spend a profit. In addition, the students will participate in all aspects of a small printing business called “Printing Pals”. Students can participate in the Penquis YES Advisory Board where they will be able to have direct input on the program’s success.

When and where does Y.E.S. meet ?

The Penquis Y.E.S. program will generally meet at the Penquis office located at 50 North Street in Dover-Foxcroft on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. when school is in session.

Who can participate ?

•Students aged 12-15 years old

•Students living in the greater Piscataquis area
