Milo Girl Scouts at the Milo Fire Department

January 20, 2009 - TRC

On Tuesday, December 30, 2008, Troop 884 of Milo visited the Milo Fire Department for a tour of the Station. During the visit the Troop learned about Fire Safety & Fire Prevention and was familiarized with the firefighter and all of his gear. They were shown the fire trucks and taught how each piece of the equipment on the fire truck has a special job.

Sparky, the fire dog, was on hand to greet the troop and present each girl with a certificate, fire hat, and special package.

A very special thank you goes out to Ricky Bradeen, Robbie Cook and Sparky. One of the girls left saying, This is the best Troop Outing that we have ever had.
