Twelve members of the Brownville Jct. American Legion Junior Auxiliary recently visited the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. The girls spent time talking to the residents about their lives and their military service. The Juniors took Halloween cupcakes for a treat and the Veterans Home provided Apple Cider for all to share.

The girls also spent some time singing songs with the men and women who reside at the Veterans Home. It was a nice experience for the girls and they have asked to go again. After leaving the Veterans Home the girls went to McDonalds and enjoyed the play area and lunch before returning home.

The Juniors would like to thank Hazel and Tina Durant for joining us and providing transportation.
