Homecoming Weekend to Honor Murrel Harris

September 28, 2007 - TRC

PVHS Homecoming weekend will be kicked off on Friday, September 28, with a Pep Rally at 2:00 in the gymnasium. Fall sports teams will be honored and royalty will be announced.

The honoree is the late Murrel Harris, remembering all he did for the children in this area. Murrel's family will receive the recognition.

Students will decorate their floats after school and the homecoming parade will begin Friday evening at 5:45. The parade will start at the Penquis Valley student parking lot,
travel up through town, swing in through JSI parking lot and return to the student parking lot where a bonfire will be started. Students will un-decorate their floats
and burn the Dexter Tiger mascots that they made.

Students will then go to the gym for the Homecoming dance from 7 - 10 pm.

Soccer teams will take on the Dexter Tigers Saturday with the Lady Patriots playing at 11:00 and the Patriots playing at 1:00.

We hope to see community members Friday evening on the parade route and are asking for lots of spirit and support at the soccer games.
