This course will cover computer basics, software, the windows filing system, changing the desktop settings, internet overview, and more. Classes run October 27, 28, November 3 and 4. Instructor is Edie Miles.Computer - Open LabOpen lab provides time for adult learners to drop in with technology questions, try out the computers, work on independent projects, and check e-mail. Open lab is on Mondays from 3-5 pm beginning September 29. There are 12 computers available in the Adult Education computer lab. Facilitator is Lynn Gerrish, who will be on hand to answer questions and help with programs. No fee.Computer - Parent Night(s)For parents of students using laptops in school this year. These will be informational sessions and are open to the general public. The first session is scheduled for September 22. We are looking for parents who need to work on high school diplomas or GEDs and would like to be more involved in their children's education.
