Milo - Meeting for Mobile Home Owners and RentersApril 13, 2007 - TRCYou are cordially invited to attend - and bring your thinking caps. WHO: Owners and renters of mobile homes in Milo, Lagrange, and Alton are invited to attend a meeting to discuss your ideas and possible solutions for those seeking better housing. WHAT: There are a number of older mobile homes in these towns. Many of them are unsafe and not well suited for habitation. Penquis CAP is exploring a program that would help. We’re interested in developing better rental opportunities, creating home ownership opportunities, and exploring other types of assistance that would help people find safe and affordable housing. WHY: Penquis CAP is exploring ways to help people living in older, substandard mobile homes. If your home has a leaking roof, moisture problems, heats poorly, is not well insulated, freezes up in winter, and/or has other problems we want to hear from you.WHEN: The meeting will be held at the Town Hall in the Dining Room on Wednesday, April 25 at 7:00 pm. Everyone welcome ! Light Refreshments will be served.
