Wicked Good Cooking Contest Results !

The PRYMCA would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2006 Wicked Good Cooking Contest.

What a great time we had, good food, good people and good music. We look forward to having everyone participate in next years cooking contest.

Desserts

Jade Bennett, (a student from Tri-County Technical Center was our first place Dessert winner. Jade won $200.00 for her wonderful and tasty cream puffs. 2nd place $100 winner was tied in the dessert category. Darlene Durgin won $50 for her wonderful Lemon Meringue Cake and Chris Clarke won $50 for his apple pie. 3rd Place $50 winner was also tied, in the dessert category. Mamie Clarke won $25 for her delicious Texas Sheet Cake and Spencer Davis, who is only 7, for his “great” Pumpkin Delight.

Soup

Sue Mackey-Andrews was the 1st place $200 winner in the Soup category. Sue made Gumbo Angelina and it was absolutely delicious. Sue has donated her prize money back to the PRYCMA. 2nd place $100 winner in the soup category went to Marie Durgin, for her Italian Soup, and 3rd place $50 winner went to Roy Crockett for his Texas Chili. Roy has graciously donated his prize winnings to the PRYMCA for their “Access” Scholarship Fund.

A special thank you to Congressman Mike Michaud for attending our function and for his generous donation to help the PRYMCA continue its mission.
