Construction in Milo
July 18, 2013 - MILO
MDOT has begun its work behind NAPA. It is a drainage project to replace/repair collapsed storm water drains resulting in a considerable benefit to Milo. The Main Street and Park Street paving has been at a standstill until the drains can be upgraded. Milo Police Department expects no affect on traffic patterns until possibly Friday the 19th.
The Main Street Project, which involves road construction in the area from Harmons to NAPA will begin next week. This will involve the widening of the Elm Street and Main Street intersection as well as some attention to the triangle at Pleasant Street and High Street and repaving on Main Street and Park Street. MDOT will have flaggers out for these projects as it will involve closing lanes down and there will be a detour during the Elm Street and Main Street construction.
Milo Police Department requests motorists to please use caution and follow the flaggers instructions. Most importantly, be patient and allow extra time for traveling.
