Three Rivers Kiwanis needs Auction ItemsJune 06, 2012 - TRCThree Rivers Kiwanis Annual Auction is looking for your items and donationsThe Auction Date has set for Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23rd at the Trade Winds Parking lot on Park Street in Milo.Members of the Three Rivers Kiwanis Club of Milo/Brownville have begun seeking donations of new and used items, gift certificates, services and cash for their annual Kiwanis Auction, said Heidi Finson, auction chair.Last year, local businesses and community members donated items and services that let Kiwanis raise more than $5,000 at their auction which was given back to community services that benefit local children and nonprofit organizations.New and barely used items such as furniture, sports equipment, canoes, boats, trailers, jewelry, crafts, collectibles and cars are being sought. Books and gift certificates for items or services will also be accepted. This year dues to the cost of disposal fees of e-waste (E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life."
