Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo/Brownville Helps Santa Meet the Local Needs

November 16, 2011 - TRC

Santa is finding that each year his list is growing larger. Eight years ago Santa had 40 children on his list and that list grew to over 200 this past Christmas. And to be honest Santa was a little worried but with the help of so many generous folks in these community and over 200 children waking up Christmas mornings with smiles on their faces. Not to mention, warm boots, coats, hats, mittens and toys under the Christmas tree.

Santa is expecting the list to grow even larger this year. So friends, neighbors and Alumni please give Santa a helping hand again this year. Anyone interested in making donations of new toys, mittens or cash would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made at the Camden National Bank (Milo Branch), Maine Savings Federal Credit Union(Milo Branch) or mailed to Three Rivers Kiwanis, PO Box 143, Milo, ME 04463. Checks can be made out to Three Rivers Kiwanis Secret Santa. If any organizations or individuals wish to adopt children please contact Bonnie Hurley at 943-5645.

Requests for Children Only (under 16) will come to us from the Milo & Brownville Town Offices, the Milo & Brownville Elementary Schools & Head Start. Please remember that Christmas is a good time to get involved with caring for the needs of others, especially children.

The Three Rivers Kiwanis meets Wednesday mornings at the Milo Town Hall in Milo at 6:15am.
