Pine Tree Quilters Guild offering tripJanuary 03, 2010 - TRCPine Tree Quilters Guild is offering trip to 34th Annual Vermont Quilt Festival.Pine Tree Quilters Guild is offering a chartered bus trip to the 34th Annual Vermont Quilt Festival, Friday, June 25 Ė Sunday, June 27, 2010.the chartered bus will have pickup locations in Bangor, Augusta and Portland. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Vermont Quilt Festival it is the oldest and largest quilt show in New England. The quilt show takes place in the air-conditioned Champlain Valley Exposition Building. The Festival offers hundreds of quilts for you to view as well as more than 80 vendors. Enjoy exploring the exhibits, demonstrations, retail area and attending lectures galore.A visit to Vermont wouldnít be complete without experiencing The Shelburne Museum. Located in Vermontís scenic Lake Champlain Valley, Shelburne Museum is one of the nationís finest, most diverse and unconventionalmuseums of art and Americana. More than 150,000 works are exhibited in a remarkable setting of 39 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the Museum grounds.There is space for 55 individuals and a minimum of 30 individuals are needed for this trip. In order to reserve your space a deposit of 50% is required by February 1, 2010. You do not need to be a member of PTQG to sign up for this trip.
