Milo Free Public Library
by Rochelle Williams
QUESTION: Please let us know if you are interested in having a Children’s Summer Reading Program this year at the Milo Library. We are asking the public due to lower participation in the past two years. The program would run from the last week of June through July (5 weeks). If you are interested, please give us a call at 943-2612.
Kathy’s pick is ‘I’d rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance (e e cummings)’. Come and check out the selected variety and you may find a new author.
We have many donated puzzles (500 to 1,000 pieces), DVD’s, VHS movies and books on CD’s. They can be checked out just like a book.
Ongoing Book Sale – We are always adding new books for sale with quite a selection. Both hardbacks and paperbacks can be purchased for one thin dime each.
