Milo is the largest town in the Three Rivers Community, and the second largest town in Piscataquis County. It is known as the "Town of Three Rivers," which is where we get our name. The three rivers are the Piscataquis, Sebec, and Pleasant Rivers. How to Get to TRC:
The Three Rivers Community is located in Piscataquis and Penobscot Counties, in central Maine. From the South: Take I-95 to Exit 157 (Newport, Dexter, Dover-Foxcroft). Turn left, and follow that road to the intersection of Rts. 2 and 7. Follow Rt. 7 North to Dover-Foxcroft. Turn Left at the light in Dover-Foxcroft, go over the bridge, and bear right through the next light. Follow Rts. 6 & 16 towards Sebec & Milo. From the North: Take I-95 to Exit 217 (Howland, LaGrange). Turn right, and follow Rt. 6 to LaGrange. Turn right in LaGrange to get to Milo and beyond. From Bangor: Take I-95 to Exit 199 (Alton, LaGrange, Milo). Turn Left, and follow Rt. 16 towards LaGrange & Milo. |
