Milo Police Department

Submitted by Izzy on October 29, 2013 - 9:58am

Good frosty morning, Milo.
I wanted to thank you all for participating in the National Drug Take Back this past Saturday. According to the preliminary numbers from the DEA, the State of Maine collected over 16,000 pounds of unused or expired medications. When I receive more information, I will pass it around.
Please remember that the Milo Police Department will take the unused or expired medications every day. We will secure it and dispose of it properly. The goal is to prevent tragedy, remove the opportunity for theft and abuse, and to keep our environment cleaner by properly disposing of these medications. Thank you again and have a great day.
