The Three Rivers Community is a group of towns in the Maine Highlands with a total population of about 6,000: Atkinson, Bowerbank, Brownville, LaGrange, Lake View, Medford, Milo, and Sebec. TRC links our communities, businesses, & organizations together online for better social and economic progress.

TRC was founded 20 years ago, and has grown in many directions to suit the needs of our communities. We have local news, a community calendar, local town offices, local organization pages, community event information, and live local webcams!

Visitors are encouraged to sign up for an account. Only registered users will be able to submit content to the site.

Milo Police Department wants travelers to know that Pleasant Street is closed at the intersection with High Street until Wednesday night.
Please use alternate routes if you need to get to destinations between Summer Street and the Library.

Milo Garden Club Meeting - 9/10

The first meeting of the Milo Garden Club for this coming year will be at Joanne DeWitt's cottage at LakeView end of Schoodic Lake at noon on September 10.

Luncheon will be furnished by the committee.

This year’s Summer Reading Program, Dig Into Reading, was a big success.

Thirty-five children were signed up which includes the Milo Day Care.  They participated consistently throughout the five weeks and almost all of them came to the Final Party.  Everyone had a good time.

A total of 669 books were read by the end of the program.  We had terrific support through volunteers and the Town of Milo.  Thank you everyone for your participation and help.
