The Three Rivers Community is a group of towns in the Maine Highlands with a total population of about 6,000: Atkinson, Bowerbank, Brownville, LaGrange, Lake View, Medford, Milo, and Sebec. TRC links our communities, businesses, & organizations together online for better social and economic progress.

TRC was founded 20 years ago, and has grown in many directions to suit the needs of our communities. We have local news, a community calendar, local town offices, local organization pages, community event information, and live local webcams!

Milo Police Department

Good evening, Milo.
We are asking for your help in identifying and locating the pictured vehicle, which was involved in a hit and run crash. The crash occurred on Park St. near the new Family Dollar at about 5:15 PM today [Thursday]. The vehicle is described as a late model Hyundai, that may be either silver or beige. There is extensive front end damage to the vehicle.
If anyone recognizes the vehicle or witnessed this crash, please contact us via the Piscataquis County SO at 564-3304.

Brownville, Milo, and most nearby communities are members and customers of PERC and so will be affected by changes in PERC.

RT 11 PROJECT SCHEDULING

Due to scheduling conflicts with other projects and all the rain, crews working on RT 11 were not regularly available onsite here in Milo and Brownville this week ending today.

E/W Corridor

East/West ME

"A short documentary about the proposed east/west corridor in the state of Maine. East/west ME highlights major hopes and concerns that surround this very controversial topic . The film follows me as I learned about the corridor, interviewing various people with a variety of viewpoints and ideas. The hope is that this film will educate and raise awareness about the east/west corridor."

in Greenville, Abbot, Guilford, and Dover-Foxcroft,
ending with a reception in Milo
at the Three Rivers Kiwanis Building.

BJHS Alumni Meeting, October 13

We have a BJHS REGULAR MEETING scheduled for Monday, October 13th at 6:00 p.m.
Last meeting that Bert (President) and Florence will be attending this year.
WE need to discuss the Christmas Craft Fair set for November 8th, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..
Always looking for workers for the kitchen and craft table, as well as cooked goods, crafts, jewelry, knitted articles, and anything else.
It will be the last alumni craft fair as the Legion will be taking over the rentals, craft fair, and our other money makers.
We will still have the yearly reunion, and dues and donations from that.
