It is that time of year again when the children’s Summer Reading Program will soon begin.  The theme this year is ‘Build A Better World’.  We applied for and received a $300 Rose and Samuel Rudman grant through the Maine Community Foundation.  We have purchased many wonderful books relative to this year’s theme which can cover many subjects.  Readers from preschool to age 12 are welcome to participate. There will be fun activities, prizes and a final party.  Sign up week begins June 19th and program is June 26th – July 28th.

Kathy’s pick is ‘Home Is Where the Story Begins’.  Come and check out the selected variety of books and you may find a new author.

We have many donated puzzles (500 to 1,000 pieces), DVD’s, VHS movies and books on CD’s.  They can be checked out just like a book.

Ongoing Book Sale – We are always adding new books for sale with quite a selection.  Both hardbacks and paperbacks can be purchased for one thin dime each.
