We at the Milo Library are the lucky recipient of a Stephen King Grant in the amount of $30,000 received in August.  Cathy Knox, one of our library board members, volunteered for the task of filling out and submitting the required paperwork.  It is quite a lengthy and involved process to apply for a grant in any amount.  We really appreciate all the hard work she invested in applying for this grant.  We thank Stephen King as well for his generosity.  This money is designated for putting in all new energy efficient windows throughout our library which is scheduled for November

Kathy/Annette’s autumn theme pick is ‘Books to Movies’.  This display features a variety of books that have been made into movies.

We have many donated puzzles (500 to 1,000 pieces), DVD’s, VHS movies and books on CD’s.  They can be checked out just like a book.

Ongoing Book Sale – There have been many more books added to our books for sale.  Paperbacks are still 10 cents and hardbacks are 25 cents each or five for a dollar.  Who can beat that price?
