Good afternoon, folks.
Please remember to use care when driving, especially near the open fields.
The winds are really moving the snow across the roads.
I'm sure DOT is waiting for the winds to die down before they clear it.
Let's slow it down a bit.

Good late afternoon, Milo.
The National Weather Service in Caribou is advising there is a possibility of more snow
coming our way between 8:00 tonight and 8:00 p.m. tomorrow.
Along with that, there will be strong winds with gusts up to 50 mph.
I'll keep you updated as I get more information.
Please drive safely.

During all storms, please park your vehicles responsibly to allow adequate snow removal.
Vehicles should be off the paved road and off the right-of-ways that are beside the streets/roads.
When the plows can't plow properly the snow that remains is a potential hazzard.
When we all do our parts we can prevent problems...like getting towed !

Letter to the Editor

Submitted by Sethen on Wed, 03/11/2015 - 5:39pm

Letter to the Milo Voters:
At 5:00 PM on March 17th, my tenure as Milo Town Manager will come to an end. What was done to me to bring this about should cause me to shake the dust from my sandals, turn my back on Milo and just walk away. As a career professional town manager, I cannot help but feel the weight of my position as I look back at this Monday evening’s Town Meeting. Like any professional town manager, I care deeply about the community I serve and the people who live there. So, here goes.
Two critical warrant articles were overwhelmingly... Read More

Good morning, Milo.
Yes, it is that time of year when I put out this little reminder.
If you go out to your car and see this color sticker on your vehicle, it's time to get it inspected.
Actually, it is at least 3 months overdue.
If we see you driving around town, we may give you a friendly reminder.
Please get your vehicles inspected.
Thank you, and enjoy the warmer weather.
