RT 11 Project/Milo Main Street Project

RT 11 Project:    With the exception of a small amount of paving out at the Business Park, the street paving is completed, as of Friday, September 19, 2014. However, there is still a great deal more to be completed. Throughout the entire project, from the Milo Main Street Bridge, to the first railroad tracks in Brownville, the driveway, street and parking lot entrances have yet to be completed. Latest Route 11 Update from David Maynard, Milo Town Manager

Paving began sometime after Noon today (September 17th) on the travel lane going from the Main Street Bridge to the railroad tracks past the Business Park. Due to the late start, it is unlikely that they will finish the travel lane today, unless the plant stays open late. The asphalt plant was broke down this morning.

RT 11 Project Update 9-12-2014

Paving in Brownville on Thursday morning, September 11th was rained out. That portion of the paving was underway on Friday morning, September 12th, and expected to be completed in the early afternoon. The remaining piece of shoulder on the Brownville side of the railroad tracks past the Business Park, to the bottom of Swett Hill, and the turn lane into the Business Park, were expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday. Any of this work not completed on Friday may be completed on Saturday morning.... Read More
