Good evening, Milo.
We are asking for your help in identifying and locating the pictured vehicle, which was involved in a hit and run crash. The crash occurred on Park St. near the new Family Dollar at about 5:15 PM today [Thursday]. The vehicle is described as a late model Hyundai, that may be either silver or beige. There is extensive front end damage to the vehicle.
If anyone recognizes the vehicle or witnessed this crash, please contact us via the Piscataquis County SO at 564-3304.

Milo Family Practice, 135 Park Street, Milo offers walk-in flu clinics on
Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 3:00 p.m..

Route 11 Project Update

RT 11 PROJECT SCHEDULING

Due to scheduling conflicts with other projects and all the rain, crews working on RT 11 were not regularly available onsite here in Milo and Brownville this week ending today.

    The RT 11 and Safe Streets Projects are finally coming together over the next two weeks. The RT 11 Project work for this week consists of getting the paving completed on the entrances to streets, driveways and parking lots, as well as repairing many sections of the sidewalks here in Milo. As usual, this will mean laborers, flaggers, trucks and equipment in the streets on Main and Park Street. Your patience and cooperation will help to speed the work along in order to get them done and out of here sooner.

RT 11 Project/Milo Main Street Project

RT 11 Project:    With the exception of a small amount of paving out at the Business Park, the street paving is completed, as of Friday, September 19, 2014. However, there is still a great deal more to be completed. Throughout the entire project, from the Milo Main Street Bridge, to the first railroad tracks in Brownville, the driveway, street and parking lot entrances have yet to be completed.
