LaGrange: Annual Turkey Supper !

The Annual Turkey Supper is sponsored by the LaGrange Fire Association
and Penquis Valley HS Band/Chorus.
Saturday, November 8th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
at the former Marion C. Cook School in LaGrange
Your mouth-watering turkey supper menu includes
turkey, gravy, potato, squash, peas, roll, cranberry sauce, drink and dessert.

As of February 3, 2014 the Maine Forest Service is going live with their online burn permits. You may go to www.maineburnpermit.com to purchase a burn permit for $7.00 on any class 1 or 2 day. You will need a credit card and a printer to purchase your burn permit online!
You may still get your burn permit from your town Warden or Deputy if you choose to for free, but this is an added convenience. For the Town of LaGrange Joe Baker is Fire Warden 207.943.2402 and Joe Briggs is Deputy 207.217.3500.

Warning for anyone that uses any type of portable heater. They can be very dangerous and easily malfunction if not used properly. Sometimes even when they are used properly they can cause damage.
Make sure you have a well ventilated space with no combustibles around your heater.
Check them regularly for leaks, cracks and if they are old please check more often.
When temperature get as cold as they have been, people tend to be less vigilant about making sure they are safe and more concerned about not being cold. It only takes a minute to do a quick check of the heater and... Read More

This year Lagrange will be covered by the Greater Bangor Area Marine Corp Toys for Tots program.
