5K fun run/walk. This is not a timed event or a race. The event is rain or shine. 
(If weather is too bad we reserve the right to cancel the event for participation safety.)

The start/finish for Color Milo 2017 will be at the Milo Elementary School parking lot, 18 Belmont Street, Milo. Registration/Check in starts at 8:00 am. for our earlybirds and the event kicks off at 10:00 am. There will be four color stations - one at about each half mile of the route. The final color station will be at the finish line. All participants and volunteers* must fill out the entry form and sign the event waiver. The color used is biodegradable but meant to stain so, please, wear clothing that you don't mind being stained.

We hope to see you on October 8rd at Color Milo 2017 ! Come in your craziest outfits, fun hats, colored socks, tutus, etc. because the Photo Station will be set up again this year. Make sure to take some before and after pics in front of the Color Milo banner...and share your favorites with your family and friends and on Facebook !

Preregistration will start on August 15. Preregistration assures your participation and a T-shirt in the size you want. To preregister (or to register the day of the event) is $20.00 per person and includes a gift bag for each participant containing a Color Milo T-shirt, wristband, neon sunglasses, route map, and an individual size packet of color. Each Tuesday during September a member of the Milo Events Committee will be sitting outside between Tradewinds Market and Park Street Di$count between 10:00 am. and 2:00 pm. taking preregistrations.

The event participation will be capped at 300 again this year so be sure to preregister to assure your participation ! Entry/registration forms and waivers are also available in the lobby of the Milo Town Hall and on the Color Milo Facebook pages (you will need to scroll down to locate it). You can also print them from TRC's Color Milo event page. Payment and preregistration forms will need to be received by October 2nd. The address is also on the forms. You can register the day of the event, but it will be first come-first served for T-shirt sizes. Once we get 300 participants, registration will be closed.

We know throwing color is fun and we want to accommodate participants. Color Milo 2016 will also have a color zone and ask that throwing before or after the walk be done in the color zone. This will help keep the color fun away from food and registration tables. 

Breakfast is sponsored by Dunkin Donuts. They will provide munchkins and coffee.

We will have water at the rest stop (half way point in the route). The rest stop sponsor is Maine Savings. 

There will be light refreshments after the event: popcorn, cupcakes, water, and soda. 

Once all participates have finished Color Milo 2017, we will all gather in the Color Zone in a big group to release the color cannons. One last coloring !!!
