Time:6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Place:5 Main Street
Dover-Foxcroft
Notes:Dover Foxcroft: Mill OPEN HOUSE/TOUR/Q&A - Monday, July 21st 6pm - 7:30pm

The former Moosehead Manufacturing Mill of Dover Foxcroft is being awakened after seven years of slumber. The Riverfront Redevelopment Project, involving an investment of more than eleven million dollars in public and private funding, will literally change the face of Dover Foxcroft, a growing Maine Street Network Community. The mill is situated along the Piscataquis River at 5 East Main St., and is slated to become a mixed-use 60,000 square
foot complex supporting an office plaza and data center, twenty-two market-rate residential apartments overlooking the Piscataquis River, a full service restaurant, an event center, boutique inn, internet café, outdoor terrace, farmers market, artist studios and more.

Signaling a shift from "destruction" to construction," developer Jonathan Arnold of Arnold Development Group will share the project's progress at an Open House on Monday, July 21, 6:00pm to 7:30pm. The open house will include a tour of the facility, a short presentation by Jonathan Arnold, and a question & answer discussion. The public is invited, providing a wonderful opportunity for interested business owners and potential residents to find out more, and for Jonathan to hear from the community.

Please join us!

Place:Milo Free Public Library
4 Pleasant Street

Notes:Come for one, several or forever to Art Classes for beginners on up.
Cost is only $5.00 for lessons by Suzette East.
You will learn the elements and principles of design; and tangible "studies" include how, as artists, we need to understand the objects and settings around us to teach our brains to trust the artistic application to make it become real ! I also focus on recognizing simple shapes and how space and light effect them.
Students need a variety of drawing pencils in varying "hardnesses" 2h, 4h, 6h, hb, 2b, 4b, 6b; tortillions or q-tips, kneaded erasers, a smooth surface sketch pad.
Everyone is welcome and it's a lot of fun !

Please keep in mind that if school is cancelled the Art Class will also be cancelled.

Place:Milo Free Public Library

Time:9:00 am - 11:00 am
Place:Milo Free Public Library
4 Pleasant Street
Milo
