Children’s Parade, Brownville Community Church
Children may ride their bikes, push a doll carriage, ride in or pull a wagon, or any other creative idea they may have as long as the vehicle is non-motorized.
Sorry no pets allowed. **PLEASE BE AWARE, A SMALL PORTION OF CHURCH STREET FROM THE COMMUNITY CHURCH TO PLEASANT STREET WILL BE CLOSED FOR APPROXIMATELY 10-15 MINUTES FOR THE CHILDREN'S PARADE AT 6:00 P.M.

Pancakes, eggs, ham, coffee and juice will be served.
Prices are $4.50 for adults and $2.50 for children.

PARADE begins at Webber Jones Airport
Attendees should show up no later than 9:00 a.m. for lineup. The parade will head out at 10:00a.m. o'clock sharp. All entrants will be placed into a drawing for $100. $100 prizes will be awarded for "Most Thematic" and "Most Creative" entry based on a ballot vote of the people!
Ballots will be passed out by the Post #92 Junior Auxiliary members during the parade.
You may cast your vote at the ballot boxes located at the General Store and More and the Artisans Fair on Railroad Avenue.
Winners will be announced following the Award Ceremony.

3rd Annual Citizenship Award Ceremony
The Town of Brownville will honor a group or citizen whose contributions have made a significant difference in Brownville.
Cake and refreshments will be served by the Jobs for Maine Graduates Students from Penquis Valley High School. PLEASE BE ADVISED** MAIN ROAD(ROUTE 11), FROM THE AIRPORT NORTH TO THE GREEN BRIDGE, AS WELL AS ALL OF RAILROAD AVENUE, WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL THE PARADE ENDS. A DETOUR FOR ROUTE 11 IS AVAILABLE BY TRAVELING ON CHURCH STREET.

Mystery Cruise - You must participate in the parade to quailfy for the cruise.
After the parade you can cruise to different businesses and locations throughout town and win a prize ! For more info on the Mystery Cruz call Fran Donley at 965-8883.

Pleasant River Walk Treasure Hunt
Transportation will be provided for anyone who wishes to walk the Pleasant River Walk trail.
Please be advised this is a wilderness trail on rough terrain.

Montreal Maine & Atlantic Railway will potentially have some working railroad equipment on display on Railroad Avenue.
